If you’re looking for some really stylish but fun bachelorette party ideas, nothing says class like old school Hollywood. This, however, is not easy to achieve, and may exceed even the most lavish budgets.

You’ll need to provide evening gowns for everybody, and to make sure they’re all a perfect fit. Makeup is heavy, with bright colors for the lips and fake eyelashes, so it may not suit all the girls.

The accessories should be small, but glamorous, such as gold or silver purses, and, of course, the timeless pearl necklaces and bracelets.

There’s no way this party will leave the house without a limo and some great bachelorette party supplies, so make sure that’s in the budget as well. Champagne is the most adequate drink – no beer on the menu! – and the food is best served in bite-sized pieces, so that the ladies don’t smudge their lipstick. Avoid serving rare stakes or any dish with sauce if you want to return the dresses afterward. (You may want to tell the girls to eat at home before leaving so they don’t starve all night – hey, class comes at a high price!)
